GIFTED AND TALENTED QUESTIONNAIRE

Goals and Objectives of Mountainburg Schools Gifted and Talented Program

Our Gifted and Talented Program serves students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Weekly enrichment activities are provided for grades K-2. These activities are designed to introduce and develop skills beyond the basic curriculum.  Beginning in third grade, identified students participate in the program.  Identified students in grades 3-4 are served through a pull-out resource program for 150 minutes each week. Students in grades 5-6 are served through a pull-out resource program for 50 minutes each week, as well as, through secondary content classes.  Identified students in grades 7-12 may participate in the program through secondary content classes, a variety of Pre-AP and AP classes, and/or concurrent credit courses.

Definition of GT
